I’ve had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I was fascinated by how one image could capture a moment, a feeling, or a memory. My early days behind the camera took me through weddings and lifestyle photography, each experience teaching me something new. But, let me take you back to one of my most defining moments.
A Milestone Moment: Photographing My First Wedding
I still remember the nerves I felt when I shot my first wedding. It wasn’t just any wedding—it was a travel wedding! I was beyond excited, but also terrified. The weight of capturing such a significant moment was heavy, and I questioned if I was really ready. But as soon as I began shooting, something clicked (pun intended!), and I realized that nerves were just energy that pushed me to do my best. Looking back on that day, it’s amazing to see how far I’ve come. That experience showed me what was possible when I believed in myself.
As I continued to grow, I found my true calling in product and food photography. I felt a deep connection with the detail and creativity these fields demanded. There’s something magical about being able to bring someone’s product or culinary creation to life through images. This shift led me to start Creative Thinking 4U and the leap from taking on occasional photography jobs to building my own business was one of the bravest things I’ve ever done.
